Here's a video of our 2019 Eastonmade 5-11 Wood Splitter. It touches on some really good key points. If you're in the market for a really heavy duty log splitter and want something that is going to last then check this out. It's built off the same chassis as our larger 9-16 and 12-22 splitters but with a more affordable price tag.

Any questions please ask

After countless videos of so many different wood splitters, this is the one I want. Now to convince my wife...

I can honestly say that these are the best out there!! They build these things like I build stuff... heavy freakin duty! I was at the Paul bunyon show today, and looked at all of them, and this was by far the best one there! I talked to the owners wife and a salesman there, and they both knew what they were talking about. I built my own splitter in 2008, and these things are as close to mine as I have ever seen. There are some things I like about mine better, and then they have some things that are better than mine. All in all they are VERY WELL BUILT!!

I have an odd draw to watching these log splitters. I have absolutely no need for one. lol I just love to watch videos about them.

My 5-11 ships out of your yard tomorrow, April 28th. Can't wait to accept delivery of the splitter. Won't have to listen to my wife complaining about watching Eastonmade videos all night while she trys to sleep. LOL

Looks like you folks put a lot of good, practical, thought into the build. I think the 4 and 6 way adjustable wedges make up for speed, in my opinion. One and done, as the round passes through and large sorting table at the end to push to a conveyor or into a trailer. The hydraulic table is super long to allow for lots of rounds to line up to take their turn. Good stuff! And Ontario made! Nice. Cheers!

So, now that im in the market for this model, Can you show how it does with really stringy knotty wood? I tend to get the not pretty wood because I dont care what my wood looks like when it burns as long as it puts out heat. I just put an hour into some hornbeam ironwood last weekend. That sucked! Do you have anything where you are that is just really terrible to cut and split?
How does the 5-11 handle terrible "garbage" wood?

Thanks,
Dan

The biggest reason that it has bigger plates is because you build it that way lol

Does the 5-11 come with auto cycle as an option? Will it handle a box wedge?

What is the largest size log this will accommodate, length wise? I run an outdoor wood boiler and buck my logs at 24” lengths.
