Third International Summit on Human Genome Editing Roundup

On 6-8 March 2023 the Royal Society hosted the Third International Summit on Human Genome Editing here at the Crick. Over the course of the three day summit, discussions focused around major themes such as developments in clinical trials and genome editing tools such as CRISPR/Cas9, as well as social, ethical and accessibility considerations these scientific developments entail. We chatted to some of the scientists, ethicists, and people from a variety of other disciplines about why it's so important for the global community that this summit took place.
