Clinical Trials for Multiple Myeloma Patients (Selinexor, CAR T Cell) | Donna’s Story

After sharing her diagnosis and her first lines of treatment, Donna and her myeloma specialist, Dr. Cristina Gasparetto, Director of Multiple Myeloma at Duke Health, talk about how they landed on Donna’s current (and fifth) line of treatment: a selinexor-carfilzomib-dexamethasone combination that’s part of an ongoing clinical trial known as STOMP.

Not only do they discuss the path that led to this treatment that’s successfully put andkept Donna’s myeloma in remission, but they also talk about other treatment experiences and reasons for treatment choices, including CAR T cell therapy.
