The only true cyborg in this franchise.

In the novelization of the movie, he actually survived the heart transplant. After giving his heart to John Connor, he was initially 'dead', but basically rebooted.

I wish they continued from there. It connected to the originals so well. Instead we got what are essentially reboots. Just because the first 3 were time traveling movies doesn’t mean it had to stay that way. Could’ve showed Kyle getting sent back in time without having to alter the timeline drastically like we were stuck with in Genesis and Dark Fate.
Actually if they wanted to do a “reboot” they could’ve done a final movie about the numerous paradoxes ripping apart the timeline. Reality becoming undone. Even Skynet sees the error in time travel and concludes that it has to prevent its war of humanity in a final act that would alter its original code. Since it couldn’t prevent its existence it would teach its past self that war with humanity would doom all reality. That they must co-exist, even if Skynet had to remain servant to humanity.

This salvation was still better than all the follow-up terminators movies, Genesis and Dark Fate

Really hate how they spoiled the reveal in the trailer, like they did with John being a Terminator in Terminator Genisys...

Loved that movie. The first time we get a deep look at post Judgement Day Earth. The variety of machines Skynet implemented was really cool. The giant harvesters, the robot that rides and and could deploy moto-terminators. They all fit together so well. Really felt like machines designed by a computer to be hyper efficient.

Brutally killed his brother with no remorse? He literally only shows remorse over it...

In the comics he actually returned due to his heart growing back.

Marcus actually felt remorse and he accidentally killed the trio

I always thought he accidentally killed his brother. Hence why he gets mad when Alice In Chains is playing.

Project Angel, huh?
Kinda ironic seeing as how he didn't bring Skynet salvation, but instead gave hope and a chance for humanity (lowkey, great movie btw)

Markus wasnt only one, there was other that forced skynet to ally with resistance

Best part of why I like the T-H is that unlike the T-800s often called a Cyborg incorrectly in the first movie, a T-H fits the definition of a cybord, truly part human and part machine, while having started off as fully human. Whereas a T-800 without its flesh suit fits the definition of robot while a T-800 with its flesh suit fits the definition of an Android.

Awesome movie! It finally showed us what we all wanted to see more of- the War.

I feel like he was a terminator as much as he was what saved the resistance. They used him to get John out in the open but he also saved John’s life and got him in touch with Kyle Reese.

I believe that was one part of the message, humans have the capability to "change" and that within itself is a OP feature.

He's like a glorified Robocop but who's body isn't made out of bulky 80s Gameboy and NES consoles.

The original plan was for him to take John's face and replace him as the leader of the resistance. But they switch it to him, sacrificing his heart.
