Hey Uncle Nicko, just started CPAP therapy this week! When I went in they reported mild apnea - but was definitely symptomatic! Unfortunately with the shortages I was given an AirSense 10 Autoset instead of the 11 - but it’s fine since insurance covers 90%! I’ve seen my AHI drop from 9+ to 0.2 and am feeling so much more refreshed when I sleep. Hopefully my partner won’t be concerned by the apneas at night. Your videos have been a huge help in understanding apnea and choosing what equipment would be best for me.

I should have got a sleep study done year's ago but kept putting it off. It doesn't matter how long I sleep I NEVER feel rested and have to lay down throughout the day because I get so tired. Turns out I have severe mixed sleep apnea with an AHI of 127. I've been waiting on the VA (The Veterans Administration Healthcare system here in the US) for 5 months but FINALLY get my BiPap this coming Wednesday and am SO EXCITED! (Even though working with the VA is frustrating to deal with I realize how lucky I REALLY am to get a new machine when so many other people can't...and at no cost.) I'm excited to have more energy to do the things I need and want to do. Even MORE excited to finally be able to think more clearly and not feel like I'm in a fog all the time. My kids are also looking forward to the time when they aren't afraid to wake up one morning to find out I died in the middle of the night. Thank you for posting so much useful information and tips on your channel. I've learned alot and will continue to watch all of your videos. Greeting's from Montana USA!

I’m seeing some Resmed mask parts and AS10 water chambers but no heated tubing on Amazon US.
Resmed Amazon pricing is a lot higher than Philips. An F30i cushion is going for $46 - $62. The Philips Dreamware full face cushion is $15 - $33.

There's good and bad to this depending on who actually manufactured the product. So far everything I've ordered for my Resmed has been said to be undeliverable besides the crappy filters.

I need to find a different full face mask. The cushions for the Quattro FX are getting expensive and the discounted ones seem to be disappearing from Amazon. I checked a number of online sources, and they are all charging $57US for a piece of molded silicon. What a rip-off!

They're doing it to protect DME providers. Resmed been playing wack a mole on all 3rd party sellers. It's surprising they're the only pap supply company doing this.

amazon used to sell for almost half of what insurance was charging..now it's just about the same (wonder if this has anything to do with it)

Seriously... I don't care so much about the price as I am lucky to have very good insurance... the 1 day delivery is what I LOVE about Amazon!
