I love this A7C and I can live with its limitations, except the minimalist EVF. At 1:56 you were talking about it, but you didn't say that it is annoying or a show-stopper. The EVF resolution (2.4M) is the same as the original A7, but magnification is 0.59x (A7C) vs 0.71 (A7).

Hi there, I own the A7C since the end of 2020. I love this camera! Do you have some issues with the camera?
For me after a bit more than a year I have some issue with the shutter release button. The middle position of the button doesn’t work anymore! Do you have similar experiences?

The flip to the side screen means you will be looking at the right instead of straight to the lens, no eyecup means you will press your face to that tiny EVF and no joy stick to move the focus point.

1. Have you checked if it overheats when recording 4k after about 1h (I have A7III and after about 60 minutes it overheats and turns off)? I am thinking of buying this A7C, but the condition is that it cannot overheat while recording 4k in continuous mode.

I wish I hadn't bought mine, I'm used to Panasonic and Olympus IBIS the Sony IBIS is a joke my hand held video is so shaky. It does take great photo's but so did my M4/3's camera and the 4000 max shutter is ridiculous.
