Thank you for making these video tutorials! I have just started knitting my first adult-sized garment - the Harvest cardi - and was thrilled to find your helpful videos as I will be learning a lot of new skills/techniques in making this - it makes following the pattern so much easier when I can see you demonstrate each step before I come to it! Then I know I'm doing the right thing :-) Thank you.

I just start my cardigan and thank you for doing this. I am not to good knitting garments so it is fun " seeing " before doing!
Again thank you!

The reason you made an extra bit of chain is so that you can pull the chain out without having to cut along the live stitches

Thank you Tina, don't think I would have figured it out on my own.

My edge looks nothing like yours... It isn't easy to pick up stitches at all. I think I've screwed up somehow

I have a question:
For the collar, you start on a knit row and end on a purl row (not counting the provisional cast-on). Your first row of the yoke is a knit row, across the collar, picking up stitches and back across the provisional cast-on row. Doesn’t that mean that when you’re going back across the prov cast-on row, you’ll have 2 knit rows together?

Is that what happens, or am I missing something?

Thanks so much for your reply. I think I will just knit with the one colour until it is done and then. Knit the rest with the main colour. Hopefully it will look like I meant it to be that way.😊

Hi Tina, I just finished the winter wine sweater with you and it turned out wonderful! I was excited to start my second sweater with you.
I am really struggling with this cardigan and picking up the stitches along the collar. When you pick up the stitches along the edge of the collar it looks like you are picking up just one stitch?? I tried it and it doesn't look right. I can't seem to figure out which stitch to pick up. I watched some other you tube videos and most say to pick up two stitches, then knit. Is there a reason you only pick up one stitch? Do sometimes you pick up two? I hope my question makes sense...I'm a little confused. Thanks for your fabulous tutorials. I am enjoying them so much!

Hello! Thank you for posting these tutorial videos! I'm wondering when you switch to the smaller needle size? From what I can understand from the pattern you use the larger needles for the collar and the sleeves. Should I assume the remaining of the pattern is knit in the smaller needle size? Thank you in advance!

I have one more thing. I had to combine two colours to have enough for my size. I started off with the contrast colour and thought I could do the garter section then do the main colour for the body. Is this possible, and would I just be able to change each row. OR do you have another suggestion. I have 320 meters of the contrast and 1120 meters of the main. Erin weight.
