Every time i watch and listen to this i want to cry. In a way i can relate to Glam. It was not with my father but.. i do know what it feels like to live with an abusive person. And the loss of a sense of freedom. This song and glams story has helped me alot lately. Its never too late to pick yourself back up and start anew

When Glam played the guitar and there was flashbacks of his father hurting him, everyone I was watching metal family with “my siblings” we all broke down crying..he put his pain into music. I’m happy he found his happiness.

0:13 and 2:30 never failed to give me chills 😭❤️. The way the guitar was played was impactful making me see and feel how glam healed from all of the abuse he had experienced... Once he got healed, i felt the healing too... 😩❤️

I think one of my favorite parts of this scene is when Chive pointed out another piece of trash for Glam to add to his city diorama project. It speaks volumes of their friendship that Glam trusted Chive enough to let him in on that very personal part of his life, and it makes me want more episodes with Chive and Glam alone and exploring their relationship.

I’m personally not much of a rock fan, but there’s something about this song and Glam as a person I can relate to. Growing up in a strict and restrictive family, never really get out to hangout with friends like an actual kid before. And when I finally do, I feel so.. happy and free all of the sudden. I feel like I’ve been missing out my whole life. I didn’t really have the guts to do much stuff since I’m usually told that doing those types of things aren’t “appropriate.”

I remember a time in my life where I felt completely unlovable, that I’d never be worth anything to anyone. But I learned to love myself, and I started working out, and I found myself smiling all the time despite all the negativity around me. This video reminds me of that. Reminds me how truly happy I was, even if it was for a short time.

I relate to Glam so much. I’m 17 about to graduate high school I get good grades, I don’t do drugs, alcohol or smoke. I’m a good kid and my mom doesn’t let me go anywhere. She says I have to stay home while I got to a four year university in person. I’m also a huge metal fan and want to make it one day as an artist, actor or writer or musician but my family rather have me be a doctor or a lawyer. Like I don’t want to be that.

iv never heard of this series before but when i saw this episode since it was recommended to me on youtube for some reason lol but this episode was just...wow...i mean it was super relatable to me irl as iv had an abusive grandfather (since i had to live my grandparents for money reasons) and well life for me was hard with my past but when my boyfriend irl introduced me to this type of music and taught me how to play the guitar...it changed my life forever and just like Glam i used my pain, grief, depression and anxiety's and turn it into music like this and found my inner peace with myself...another reason why i love my boyfriend so much as he helped me to find my inner peace but again this episode to me was deeply relatable

After the first time I heard this, I couldn't stop tearing up. It felt like I knew what Sebastian/Glam was going through. But im happy that in the end, when he was an adult, he had two sons and a wife who loved him and his best rock'n roll buddy. Its nice to see that in the future, Sebastian becomes a sweetheart 🥹🤘
