Electric Double Bass

These things rock, I used to play one before getting my acoustic upright. While they don’t sound incredible bowed, it does the job, but for pizzicato stuff it’s perfect.

Gosh I want one! I am a classically trained double bassist. These give you so much more capacity to play with drums and guitars. (Without the issue of reverb) The 5 string version brings souch more potential to the table.
Its fun to imagine how different music would have been if this was made before the bass guitar we know today.

For the record, hatchbacks are like the bassists car of choice. A full upright fits perfectly in most hatchbacks. I drive an Audi A3 hatch and a Mini Clubman and gig daily in them. Ok carry on

That bass almost resembles an actual axe. The Brandenberger family plays a white electric stand up bass similar in their YouTube videos. For example, Over In The Glory Land.
