I've had mine for about two weeks absolutely joy to play and it sounds better than what you are hearing here. Nice low end and you shouldn't have any problems with fret transition as long as you do a few scales before you start just to let muscle memory kick in. Well done I banez. I use this with my Ibanez fretless and it has added a new palette to our music.

I love Ibanez! Have played their basses for years.. Still do. But this bass does not sound like an upright!! Sounds more like a fretless acoustic bass to my ears..

I received it. The volume control know became loose after about 6 days. ... I sent it back because it didn't have the sound that I wanted.. played nice but 1k was too much.. just saving my pennies until I get what i want.

I've had one for about a month. I really like it. Mine is warm, woody and articulate with lots of 'mwah!' It doesn't play like a vertical fretless bass guitar. It's a smaller upright-esque bass. I've been taking upright lessons on YouTube and can't get enough. I've been playing electric bass for about 40 years. It's been a long time since I've rolled out of bed and started practicing bass! It's also awesome with effects. Great stuff Ibanez! 🎸🎸🎸

Ibanez Guitar I'd like you to make a 7 String Acoustic Bass Guitar. Also make a 9 String Acoustic-Electric and even an 18 String version of the 9 String w/ 9 Pairs of Strings. The 14 String Bass has 7 Pairs of Strings cause it's cool. Why not make an Acoustic-Electric Upswing available in 4, 5, 6, and 7 string versions (along w/ Double Strung versions 8, 10, 12, and 14 strings in pairs) cause I could come up with interesting song arrangements. The 7 String Acoustic-electric Upswing (along w/ a 14 String version w/ 7 Pairs of Strings) can wait. Let me know when my 7 String Acoustic-Electric Upswing (along w/ a 14 String Version w/ 7 pairs of strings) is ready.
