This used to take 4 people to do. A dolly grip, Assistant camera to pull focus, another to zoom out and an operator for the camera.
Now one guy with a 4K camera can do it. Not to mention add 60 or 120 fps to create a beauty shot.

Huge problem with this follow focus servo system: it does not calibrate to the ring throw, also the AB points you set go away when you turn off the gimbal. If you have a manual lens which does not have an infinite throw you encounter the risk of damaging your lens and/or the follow focus. I'm glad it came free with my crane 2, because I won't be using it.

It's a good sign that Zhiyun may have some products work with Sony in the future. However, for now, it' seems a little bit bulky for me.

I wonder if the rail will extend out far enough to reach out to the focus ring on the Sigma 18-35mm? and can you buy an extension rail if the one is too short?

How does it work with a focus by wire lens? Is it hard to get a good focus ?

Hi, just a question, I'got a Nikon D850 and I bought this follow focus to use it together the camera, but now with firmware 1.73 Crane 2 can control also the focus. So is still necessary to have this servo follow focus to make video?
