Love listening to Dominic Cruz because he's so articulate.

No matter the experience, there will always be fear in some capacity. Guida says he doesn't get scared, his Mendes and Maynard fights suggest otherwise. He did nothing in those fights due to being afraid of getting bombed on.
These are fights against another human being with will to win. I feel the fear diminishes as soon as the fight starts and the longer the fights continues, but fear of the unknown is where I agree that fear is placed most on.
Imagine if Anderson knew that his leg would have broke in the Weidman fight, would he have been afraid?

Very enlightening and eye opening to see that they actually have any type of fear, and there is a greater fear of failing and embarrassment, than there is of pain or getting seriously injured.

Great video.

I'm still wet behind the ears when it comes to fighting in the cage or ring, when I'm about to fight someone my body starts to feel as if it's falling from a high place and that often affects my performance, but after watching this I feel more relaxed towards the thought of combat. Thanks fight land for this clip

I do MMA. I have been in cage 4 times. That time when you go to the cage and wait for gong is weirdest. Not fare, more like discomfort, but I try to relax. After fight starts everything changes, adrenaline kicks in, 5 minute round looks so short like a blink of eye.

Good piece, I really enjoyed this. However, we all know Amir is afraid of anyone ranked and Benson is deathly afraid of SHOWTIME!! lol Seriously though, respect for these warriors.

I feel like Cowboy loses title shots on purpose just so he can keep on being the under dog.
