TBH this just feels like an incompatibility issue.

It is perfectly normal to do something just because your SO wants but it stops being normal if it is done under threat.


Idk... I would just break it off. There is no way I can see this not devolving into an extremely toxic relationship.

The fact that he can see the pattern of her obeying his orders only after threat of the breakup tells a lot about him. If you manipulate your partner with break up threats so much, you are not better than her. However, i can see that even if they try to work things out, they will end up separated. Based on what he said, the unhealthy dynamic in their relationship seems irreparable and they would be much happier with other people.
