Looking forward to Optus in Australia incorporating Starlink satellite to cell and killing the long rip off Telstra whish is the large telecommunications in Australia. Hopefully Optus price is low enough it need be $80 moth for least 100gig if not i'm not swapping!

My phone provider (Fi) seamlessly supports wifi based calling as well as the text app using IP connection. How is this service different from wifi calling? If I have a starlink with wifi wouldn't my phone just automatically do wifi based calls? Thanks!

If they said it would be free to Tmoble customers then it should be that for Tmobile other than that it should be a free to other customers. Tmobile do not say something and not keep your word.

Well, tests are out and the service is pretty awful. You can barely send an sms with that service, users have to keep retrying till it goes through. It's pretty embarassing that they have been doing so much PR about it, and even with almost 400 d2c satellites up there, it's barely fonctional. They should've come up with a proper tech instead of sending junk so high up
