Man, I was trying to do this for hours..only to realize that windows was formatting the keys wrong. Only when generating keys with options t and b with 521 did it actually work. Much aprreciated!

Absolute genius, i was following tutorials on how to make the keys on raspberry, but it never worked because the keys where not in win10, this is the other way around, make the keys in win10 and copy then to raspberry, worked perfectly, thanks

Excellent man. Easy and pretty straight forward to connect seamlessly. I tried generating keys with puttygen and that wasn't went well. This is perfect with ssh-keygen. You deserve a like and subscribe for this video.

Thank you for your video, but I am trying to take ssh from Linux to Windows with password-less however it is not working.
From windows to Linux it is perfectly fine
but Linux to windows it's not working...every attempt its keep asking password.
Any help would be appreciated.

how do we do it for windows 2016 server, if i issue the command ssh-keygen (same like in the video) i get a not recognized as an internal or external command
i would like to set it up using powershell, is there anyway you can do this

I did it correctly, only from windows to windows, however the only command I didn't find was chmod, I did everything correctly, but even so, the password is still required. :(

i want to achieve the reverse scenario i.e ssh from linux to Windows PC. already stored the public key of my LINUX machine in windows .ssh/authorized_keys still aint working sshd config file has the correct path specified for the user. any help?

Every time I do this and then enter the password the command prompt just sits there and I don't get the "100%, 266 34.6KB/s 00:00" type of response that you got here. It just stays on password entry and doesn't move even though I have entered the correct password. Can anyone help?
