What If The Earth Wasn't Tilted?

When a Mars sized object collided with Earth 4.5 billion years ago, it knocked off a chuck that would become the moon. It also tilted Earth sideways a bit, so that our planet now orbits the sun on a slant of 23.5 degrees. Those were two huge changes, but what would it be like if this never happened and the Earth was never tilted?

This video only works if Earth had lost its tilt after millions of years of evolution conducting to wheat, rice, humans, mosquitoes, early civilization, etc. In a planet with no tilt to start with, all the evolution of life would have adapted to those conditions, and now we, or somebody not like us would be watching a video about how it would be if Earth were tilted. Imagine seasons! The weather not being constant! Cold some months, hot the rest of the year! Unbearable!

I feel this thinking I backwards because it's like he's talking about humans from today being transported to this seasonless world.
Truth is we would have evolved to thrive there or another species would thrive there, whatever it could be, it would be the most intelligent of them all that dominates.

The equator would probably be really hot and the extreme latitudes would be really cold. There would be a range of latitudes between hot and cold to live in. Crops could be grown in their ideal conditions year-round so long as they're sown in the right latitude and place.

Polar ice is fresh water on a dry planet, the return too no ice, would make the atmosphere be fully changed at 4 %, returning the earth back to a green planet. No extremes temperatures, no tidal effects on the sea. The earth would be watered daily, by the atmosphere, and the sun rays would be reduced while travelling through earth's atmosphere. The temperature would be constant in that envelope, around 21 centigrade. Every inch of the land would be watered daily by overnight dew.

you're saying like corn and potatoes would evolve the same way even if there were no seasons and no tilt. obviously plants would be more adept to the kind of climate no-tilt would cause and i doubt problems with food that you describe would happen
