He ain't fully evil but if the Manual saying he turned toads into the blocks Mario breaks then he may want or wanted to make the toads perish

Debating Mario lore is impossible because so many different versions of them exist. There’s really no established canon. As it stands, the while thing is either a play, or a dream in Mario’s head.

0:12 Bowser can easily clap thousands of 'em with his hands tied behind his shell lol. A single Goomba can probably defeat dozens of Toads. Only a few Toads, such as Toadette or Captain Toad even HAVE the ability to fight. So yeah they're anything but threats lol.

Okay, Bowser is a villain, but he's a broken/tragic villain. If you think about it, we don't know why Bowser became a villain, but I think the reason he became a villain, is not because of Mario or Peach, it's because all his life, he had nobody, when he was a kid he was always by himself, and had no friends or family, and I'm pretty sure not even Kamek truly cared about him. So, that's why he became a villain, because of the loneliness he had in his life. And that's probably why he adopted the koopalings so they wouldn't end up like him.
