I played exactly that game a few minutes after watching your video. Wonderful. Only problem is that my opponent moved the queen pawn to d5 which ruined the whole plan. I went into a very messy end game down material, pulled back but then blundered. Without my blunder, the best anyone could do would be a draw.

Beautiful. Videos like this show clearly why Black needs to focus on development & king safety instead of grabbing material.

This is a Greco variation, advantage versus time

Got to admit, I didn't see the "Just castle" part (0:14) coming. I think I'd instinctively go with Q d3, threatening Black's Knight and protecting White's Knight simultaneously.

I'm not sure what would happen after that though.

Pawn D5 instead of bishop D4, but still black loosing the game

Two points:

1. In the mainline Guioco Piano (what you show here), Black does not capture on c3 with the knight.

After

1. e4, e5
2. Nf3, Nc6
3. Bc4, Bc5
4. c3, Nf6
5. d4, exd4
6. cxd4, Bb4+
7. Nc3, Nxe4
8. o-o...

the main line is

8. ...Bxc3,

and if White plays 9. bxc3?, d5! equalizes. So instead, White goes into the Möller Variation with

9. d5!?

with a trap-laden line where Black can pick his way to equality with best play. (However, the line has now been so heavily analyzed for so long that it offers White no hope for advantage. Like most such openings, it is now seen as almost a guaranteed draw.)

2. If Black _does_ play

9. ...Nxc3?!
10. bxc3, Bxc3?

(Slightly better, but not good enough for equality, is 10. ...Be7.)

White wins not with your 11. Qb3, but with

11. Ba3! ...

threatening to trap Black's king in a wide-open center. If Black grabs the rook, he gets mauled on the e-file. But even 11. ...d6 does not save him.

its my course opening, we play this all the time

Final queen check with double support seems to be the key as only piece can be captured in one move ❤, thanks.

Ba3 is better than Qb3 :) Well, it is pretty obvious that Igor surely knows about it

Instead of B x KN, d7-d5 stops this tomfoolery in its tracks.

Most people I play with would just castle instead of playing Nxe4.

No bro he have d5 move when we play qb3 it is saying if u capture my bishop then i capture your bishop and if we capture he can castle and he has a comfortable position because here the correct move is ba3 and we are developing the bishop and cutting king to castle and if black capture our rook then we have re1 and here is only way to cover his king is ne7 then we take with the with check here are only two 1 queen takes rook 2king f8 if he play kf8 then rook takes pawn on f7 it is protected with light bishop on c4 and the double check with ba3and here is only move to save queen is kg8 then we have rf8 we have double check with light square bishop and it is checkmate what if he scraficed his queen then we can take simply with bishop he takes with king and don't take bishop on a1 of black first give him check from qe1and it is completly winning

All so convenient if your opponent conveniently follows this movement pattern... But they don't.

What if blacks last moves is d5 instead of Bxe5. Then no mate on f7, oke way more develoment for white but can't black defend?
