You should try putting a volume spacer in the rear shock. That way you can have the suspension soft off the top but not bottom out on the drops. Hopefully I can get a bike like that for my GF one day.... She's also Japanese.

I love how you're uploading more often. Ride safe Yuka!❤️

More air is maybe not the way to go. Tokens and compression damping is what you should look into.
Suspension setup means so much for the bike handling 👍🏼👍🏼

I love your enthusiasm and never say die attitude! I subscribe to 10 other mountain bike pages on YouTube, including bcpov, I'm finding I look forward to your videos the most.
I am a 60 year old ex motocross, road race rider from back in the day so my body is pretty beat up now and as much as I'd love to get into riding mountain bikes my old injuries are pretty prohibitive. So I live vicariously by watching all the YouTubers mountain bike videos! Keep posting those videos as I love watching your progression!

Congrats! Drop the pressure back to recommend but add a volume spacer. Be mint.

🌈I like your simplified approach. Your video shows "real life". More "down to earth" than these pro videos... It makes you want to... I like the parts where you analyze the obstacles and routes in addition to being very well filmed on the way. Even if you clearly have the means to have high-end equipment, you keep it simple. Good road ! 🏁

Glad to hear you like your Santa Cruz Bronson. After 13 years on a Specialized Carve Pro 29er hard tail I finally went full suspension and plonked down the $$$ for a Santa Cruz Bronson. It was worth every penny. Rock gardens that used to rattle my bones and shake my teeth loose are now incredibly smooth. Landing jumps on trails use to involve bouncing, steering and braking adjustments to keep my bike on the trail - Not anymore - I’m landing like a swan on water - cushioned and smooth with complete control. I love the “reverse mullet” or 29” in front and 27.5” in back on the berms - like laser tight tracking on these turns. A total and complete game changer whether I’m rolling along on the flats, climbing steep technical inclines or BOMBING the steep downhills I feel in complete control on this bike. Thank you for your video. You are a HARD CHARGER and that’s inspiring!!!

Everyone talking about volume spacers, but nobody talking about the fact that rear shock has full compression and rebound adjustment. Dial in some compression if you're bottoming on big features.

Yuka-san, the rear shock works like this. If you add more air, you're making the (air) spring stronger (stiffer) throughout its movement. If you like the beginning and mid stroke to be the same but want more bottom out protection, try adding a token or two.

The Rockshox Super Deluxe only has a Low Speed Compression adjustment so slowing it will not improve much for drops. The LSC is mainly for compensating for your leg input (like pedal bobbing) or really pushing into sweeping corners with your legs. If you feel the rear is sagging too much, slow the LSC down a couple of clicks and try again.

For drops, the only way to adjust bottom out protection on the Super Deluxe is by using tokens. Check to see what's in there, then add a token, aim to use the same air pressure or 2-3 psi less than what you used before and try again.

I love Chris King hubs, I have one from 15 years ago. My rim totally exploded so once I save up and rebuild the wheel it's back in action!

When I got a pro suspension setup they recommended 20-25% sag for the fork, which is actually a softer initial ride then 30%, due to not interning the mid stroke too early. Try it!
