I am 5'7 and though I have always rode 26 inch mountain bikes I have short legs and never could get to a comfortable sitting/standing postition. I ride street only but because of back issues I like full suspention bikes. I have been looking into 24 inch bikes but questioning getting one because I ride early and late in the evening. I want cars to be able to see me at a reasonable eye level. Based off some of the 24 inch bikes they seem fairly close in size and height when riding. Comfort and control is a must for me especially when traveling in areas with heavy traffic.
