Fun fact:

A Challenger II was once caught in an ambush by Iraqi tanks and Anti-Tank weaponry such as RPGs.
In response to this the tank commander sealed the hatches put on the kettle and told his crew to relax and wait until the ambushers ran out of ammo which they later did.
The tank was still fully operational afterwards.

I know that with europe and the US sending tanks to Ukraine is going to be very helpful but wouldn’t the broad variety of different equipment be a issue for soldiers that are training/maintenance. When these vehicles need work done it’s going to be a mess on getting supplies in quickly I feel

It's one thing to supply tanks, it's another thing to supply logistics, mechanics and create a doctrine that can use those tanks effectively, this are not things you can do in under a year
