My husband and I attended your concert when I was about six weeks pregnant. Our baby daughter died a little over a month after she was born. I consider your concert in Manila her first and only concert on earth. This song feels like a warm hug from her, telling my husband and I that she’s always with us. Thank you, Jacob.

Jacobs more laid back acoustic songs like "the sun is in your eyes" just make me feel safe.

I work in urgent care and always sit in my car before coming home to my wife and daughter for 10 minutes to make sure I'm calm and positive. I think this is gonna be the song I listen to right before I see them for the next couple weeks.

Thank you for this beautiful piece of art

My son passed away two years ago. It was around the time I discovered your music. He always wanted an old blue Chevy Silverado. His name means Ocean (Kai). His memory is my shelter. When I hear this song, I hear his voice singing these words to me. It brings me peace. It lifts me. It feels me with the strength I need to carry on, and closer to him. You can't imagine how much this song means to me. Thank you Jacob.

This song is such a gift. It is released on the day we had to bury our daughter. But this song felt like a warm blanket. 'If I could, I'd go with you'. Don't be afraid of the dark, for her down there and us up here. Thank you!

My son Evan introduced me to Jacob Collier's music and I've admired his genius ever since. In Sept 2021, Evan suddenly and tragically died. This song heals my heart and connects me to my beautiful boy. Thank you Jacob for your gift.

As a musician who's been doing music for a living as long as I have, it's hard for me to feel anything when I listen to music... heard this cried like a baby.... 😫 we don't deserve this dude.

Many people write about how this song soothes them after their loved ones passed away... For me, I feel this song brings my soul back to me, back home, after a lifetime of inner conflict. I've been listening to this on repeat for the last hour or so, laying in bed with a string of the sun on my eyes. It was so comforting. Thank you Jacob and Brandi! 💛

The modulations in that pre-chorus at 2:20... I swear this guy has evolved beyond human. Just astonishing. That progression is one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard.

I can’t get over how rich every moment of this song is, it’s so complex and yet so simple. The minor iv at 3:57 just hits like a truck and it’s gorgeous

It is not an exaggeration to say that Jacob Collier is a generational talent when it comes to songwriting. He will be remembered for centuries.

A year and a half my wife and I had a miscarriage after 3 years of fertility treatment. We called it Little Blue and this song hits me right there.

It was an honor to hear this song at the Hollywood Bowl before its release ❤

What I find incredible about Jacob is that he manages to be mainstream, very accessible to everyone, and yet he never falls into technical simplicity, always presenting us with harmonies that seem to come from another universe. His works are musical masterpieces in every sense, and beyond just being beautiful or conveying lovely messages, they’re literally tools to pierce our souls with the lightness of a feather.

*This is not music*

I love how in the first chorus (1:05) the woman sings along with Jacob but you can barely hear it, like an overtone that adds to the texture of the vocals. It's like a little voice in his heart that is supporting him and telling him he will be okay.
