Pavane - Faure (Cello Cover)

Finally got around to doing this piece. Faure's Pavane is soooo gorgeous. This version for 12 Cellos was such a huge undertaking, but we made it happen. I'm proud of how it turned out. I hope you enjoy.

I want to thank you from the depths of my soul. My father had a stroke at the end of January. He couldn't talk or swallow and had to have a feeding tube. He started behaving in an agitated manner. I would play this and you other music and it would relax him and help him sleep. Unfortunately he contracted Covid and passed away mid February. Your music brought him some peace in his final hours. God has given you a gift

I think the cello is the most emotional of all the instruments. I I really enjoyed sitting here with my eyes closed, sipping my coffee and listening to every part of this. Opening my eyes would have been too distracting. I had tears from some emotions that were pulled from my heartstrings-see what I did there?
