Tesla Door Handle Identification the easy way DIY

We are constantly asked by individuals how to identify what door handles they have, and this is by far the easiest way to do that without removing the door trim (which isn't that hard either). The back of the GEN 1-2.5 handle will have either a black back seal (polyurethane cover) or a GEN 3 will have a black plastic hard cover with 5 torx screws.

Do you have a video on how to adjust the resting position of the handle so that it sits flush with the door panel? Mine seems to have sunk in more and more over the years.
