I made these sounds back in 2011 for my film "The Last Signals". They're all recorded from scratch (except the screams) and edited on my computer. I used them in THG when I was working on the project. Now it seems everyone uses these sound effects.

Imagine being trapped bellow decks as the freezing water rises around you and this of all things is the last thing you hear

A truly spine shivering tragedy, cannot begin to imagine what it must have felt like to hear the creaking and twisting of steel as it buckled under it’s own immense weight whilst plunging into the below freezing waters of the Atlantic, the shrieking screams of 1, 500 men, women and children who knew their perilous fate, the sheer terror of imminent death must have been indescribable, and once the lights went out all that was left was the shadowy silhouette of the once great unsinkable ship RMS TITANIC. What’s probably the most hair raising thing of all would have been the stop dead silence that followed after the ship had vanished and the screams slowly faded out until there was nothing but eerie stillness, they interviewed a survivor many years ago named Eva Hart and she said "it felt like the whole world stood still that night" and that the silence that shortly followed the screams was even more harrowing and that was the unequivocal moment that she knew the 1, 500 souls had sadly perished.

I recently watched a video of a titanic survivor who moved not far from a baseball stadium..he said that on game days it terrified him because the screams of the crowds reminded him of the screams he heard as the ship was sinking.. So I went and listened to some YouTube videos of crowds at baseball games and I was like omg that sound is terrifyingly

these sounds are truly terrifying, the sounds of the hull bending and splintering as the 3rd and 4th funnels begin to collapse, then theres only creaks and groans from the ship before she slips beneath the waves, and the panic on the deck as people struggle to stay on as the list continues and those screams are what make this worse, this will always be one of my favourites, and to never be forgotten, long live the titan.
