Today we ride the Lakefront Trail in Chicago, from Montrose beach to the Adler Planetarium (North to South). Filmed on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 in a late summer evening. (9.5 miles, 15.25km)

This video features no music, only the binaural audio recorded during the ride. I go through great lengths to get quality ambient sounds but if that's not your thing, feel free to listen to your own music and podcast while you ride along.

The goal of this channel is to record and document trails and bike rides so you can use it to plan your ride or ride along with me indoors in your stationary/exercise bike at home. Or... You can kick back, relax, and enjoy the scenery and sounds.

Thanks so much for putting this out. I grew up at Sheridan Rd and Ardmore Ave. I rode that trail since I was 9 years old. I am now 68 years old and live in North Carolina. I miss the Lake and that park bike path trail. It is a treasure and I took it for granted for the 30 years that I used it. Seeing your video brought back some of the Joy I experienced flying through that path as a young man.

This is the coolest thing I've ever seen. You ride like the professionals! I so wish I could do this. I live in Maryland now but I hope to move back to Chicago. When I lived in Chicago, I had no idea this bike path existed!! Thanks for sharing this video. 😲

You're missing the whole trail South of the Museum Campus which is arguably the best part of the Lakefront Trail - way less pedestrians and beautiful scenery.

Great vids guy, I watched a few of them, thx! I don't even know why I never biked the Lakefront, especially when I had easy access there from Ravenswood. I'm way out in Lake county now, biking around here...need to bring the bike back down to the city sometime and hit the lake! What ~10 mile stretch (so like 20 miles total there and back) do you recommend?
