Flash Flood DESTROYS Cardboardia Village

Cardboardia Village's Flood sirens went off at 4:30 pm, September 23rd after record setting rainfall caused the Cardboardia River to rise to its highest level ever recorded.

I am a citizen of Cardbordia. I lived in a house by the river, about a mile from downtown. I heard the sirens and water started coming from the river. A few moments later the power got knocked out. Then water started filling up my house. The flood got so bad that multiple walls started falling down and got washed away. It was horrible and i had to stay on the roof for 2 days until a coast guard helicopter saved me. I will return home next week to see the devastation. It is horrible and heartbreaking to see the heart of my town get washed away. My thoughts and prayers go out to all my fellow Cardbordians affected by this tragedy 😫😫😫❤❤❤

When I worked at Lowes a couple years ago in the flooring department, I learned that stone tiles needed sealant to close up the holes in the stones. Water in those holes will cause the stone to be more brittle and break apart easier. So it makes sense for older stone buildings to be more fragile against flood damage.

I am a citizen of Cardboardia. My house by the coast was washed away in the flood while my entire family was inside. My bakery luckily survived, but we had no power at all. I visited this village a couple of years ago while traveling cardboardia country, and met alot of nice people in cardbordia village, an I am so saddend to see this once beautiful village square swept away by this horrific tragedy. I hope the cardboardians are doing well in their recovery! 🙏
