The 33 Strategies of War by Robert Greene summarized as succinctly as possible in this 24-min animation by yours truly, illacertus. I received an e-mail reply from Robert Greene after waiting an approximate three months since I sent my initial fan mail linking to these summaries, in which he says Thank You.

Miyamoto's duel is a hilarious read.
The duel was scheduled to begin on an a beach at a specific time.
Miyamoto was four hours late.
The other guy was frustrated, and felt further disrespected when Miya's weapon was a rowing oar.
Miyamoto deleted the guy.

I’m honestly overjoyed to see you upload again! Your channel has helped me change my life truly, I was in a terrible place smoking weed all the time and not working. Now I’ve been going to college, making the deans list every semester and my mom is finally proud of me. And a lot of that I owe to you and your channel with it’s great content. I wish you nothing but success in the future illacertus! ❤️

"The art of war is to win without bloodshed or the use of force... The minimum necessary use of violence." Aw dang it. So charging a light cavalry forces head on into a much larger group of un-dead zombies isn't a good idea? Shot down in the first 6 seconds of the video. O well, I'll just film it anyway.

The beauty of this list is that it applies to so much more than war. Sports, office politics, art, etc. Great video.

Strategy without tactics, is the slowest path to victory.
Tactics without strategy, is noise before defeat.

"As you are I was, as I am you will be" Wow! Very profound! This is good study material. Many of these strategies can be used as principals to succeed by as individuals. Not necessarily only for those who wage war.

For every rule there's a situation where you have to break it. No plan survives first contact, so you have to be adapable & be willing to challenge past assumptions.

I'd love to see you go more in depth into Mastery, as you did with 48 Laws. I credit Mastery with most of my success and hold it in much higher esteem than any other of Green's works. His latest, Laws of Human Nature, is also very very good (As I'm sure most watching this are aware.) I'd rate it as number 2 as of now, but I've only read through it once so far.
