Once I saw that my grandfather was watching this movie there in 2005 and I saw the scene when Sonny was killed, I asked him what was wrong with that man and he told me: "Nothing is wrong with him, darling, he has fallen asleep." knees and I watched the rest of the movie with him, I told him that I really liked the music that was playing, when he died I got very sad and I knew what death was, and when I woke up the day he died, I remember the day that He died on that hospital gurney with tubes and machines, when he grabbed my hand with his last strength, the last kiss I gave him on the hand and then left the room crying by the force of my parents so that I could not see him die, and since I can only see him in the cemetery, I see the movie that he showed me, the day he showed me what death was and what his favorite movie was.

Even if you don't give a shit about my life, I write this because that's how I discovered The Godfather, Thank you grandfather

I've never seen this film but my father loved it. He bought me a music box that played this song simply when I was first born, he'd hum it to me as a lullaby for years. It became 'my song'. I learnt it on piano, flute, violin, cello, guitar, any and all instruments I could play.
17 years later, I play this song to my emotionally dethatched father as a way to say I love you.
I feel like I should never watch the movie, I want to live the rest of my life wondering and looking forward to the idea of watching something that my father truly loved. I don't want to watch it and have that heart-breaking feeling of watching the credits roll, knowing that it's over.
