I think I just got over RSV. Started with a sore throat, then a super runny nose, by day three I was coughing and wheezing and had a little bit of trouble breathing and my rescue inhaler albuterol for ( reactive airways- not asthma) wasn't really working well, but my oxygen saturation never fell below 95 and stayed between 95%-99%. I had covid last year and this felt way different. Got tested (PCR) and was negative for Covid. By day 4, I was still coughing and wheezing but the inhaler started to work and I was getting relief using it 3 times a day. The cough sounded horrible, way worse than what I had with Covid. Days 5, 6 and 7 cough is almost gone and wheezing is intermittent and I haven't used my inhaler for 2 days. I guess they don't test adults for RSV unless you end up in the ER. I am glad this crap is almost over because RSV was way worse than covid in my personal experience. I never had trouble breathing with Covid and my lungs didn't sound this awful. My cough was also dry and I could feel mucous in my lungs but very little was coming up(light yellow) in color. Very weird. No body aches or fever either but I didn't really experience those symptoms with Covid, and it's been years since I've had the Flu. The worse part of this was not being able to breathe well for a day. I slept on my stomach and stayed on my feet to allow oxygen to flow through my lungs and did deep breathing to help because the inhaler was only giving me an hour of relief on day 3, if that. Also drank hot liquids several times a day to help loosen whatever was in my lungs. I Hope no one gets this because it was awful.

Take care of yourself everyone and don’t let stubborn family members get in your way if you see something wrong especially for a long period of time

I’m vaccinated and got the flu vaccine about a month ago would this boost my whole immune system by not getting as sick?
