I believe the yellow connectors are the air bag circuits. Also sometimes the connectors are loose! Just push them together and wiggle them a little bit can also cause air bag light to go out! James

Thanks a lot Allan, it did the trick, I just checked under the passenger seat, and yes the cable was twisted, just move it, and the SRS light went off, thanks once again

Thanks for posting this video. I was just about ready to take my seat out when I discovered a full water bottle underneath the passenger seat. I took the water bottle out, rechecked my trouble airbag light and it went off. Rechecked and went out again. Thank again.

Great, to-the-point video! That was the issue...Removed 'junk' from under the passenger seat, chkd ABag connections and pulled wire from seat track area. Started engine -- Air Bag Light OFF! Thank you for a solution that did not involve taking 2006 Sonata to the dealer for 'recall' fix that had already been performed.

just bought a used truck and the air bag light was on, this was aNissan Dealership and they said they could not make the light go off said they would have to tke it to Chevrolet Dealer. well I watched some videos on youtube here seen your video and thought to myself it can not be that easy, well long story short mine had a wire that had came loose and plugged it in and BOOM !!! air bag light gone! Thanks.

You don't need to take off both battery cables, once the negative is removed the circuit is dead.

Thanks for this. I just reached under the passenger seat and driver's seat and pulled the wires forward a bit and to the side and when I checked the air bag light was off. I am not sure which one that I pulled turned it off but, thanks to your video, I had my air bag light within minutes. It's not my car. It's my Dad's. If I couldn't of got it fixed tonight, I would of told him to go to the dealer in the morning. They just did a free inspection on his car. I'm pretty sure the air bag light was just a coincidence that it came on a few days later. I will keep an eye on the air bag light and if it comes on again, then I will lift the seat and see if there's any messed up wires that need to be fixed.

One thing I did so I could get a state inspection was simply pull the air bag light fuse for the indicator . Then no air bag light . I will say this again . Pull the air bag fuse indicator fuse . Not the air bag fuse itself . My air bags will still deploy but no crazy air bag light will distract me every again !
