Genius Joe Dart bassline. It is not very fast and flashy, even though he could most definitely play faster, but he stays exactly where he needs to be and the song is so extremely groovy. Beginner friendly song and a great lesson in staying in pocket.

(detailed harmony explanation at the end of this comment) Great line, great bassist. It has many interesting things to analyze and incorporate into your language (specially some of the ending licks). The melodic element is vital. The line goes through the voice melody, the piano melody and creates on it's own. Good use of chord tones when it's needed, good use of roots when you need to secure more stablity on harmony. Chromatic and diatonic passing notes, etc, etc. The song is in Db Major:
