Fresh off of a bye in week two, the Rams hosted the defending NFC Champion Falcons on September 26, 1999. The Falcons were still looking for their first win of the season having lost their first two games of the year. The Rams were hoping to prove that their win in week one was no fluke. Had been a Rams fan for 10 years at this point. After 8 losing seasons, I cried when they won the Bowl. Best NFL memories of my life.

The most entertaining offense in the history of the NFL without question.

Faulk was unreal. He simply couldn't be stopped this season

Kurt Warner without question the best quarterback ever. The only quarterback that brought two losing franchises to the super bowl... Kurt Warner was so close to winning three super bowl if only the defense held.

This was such an amazing, entertaining, and surprising season the Rams had. Nobody ever expected the St.Louis Rams with a QB nobody ever heard of to come out and blowout basically everyone they played.

Been a Rams fan since 1979. The GSOT years w/ Warner et al, was literally my happiest time as a football fan ever. I love these highlights.

1:19 don’t worry Proehl. You’ll come up big in the playoffs and everyone will forget about that drop.

Rams fan forever. I'm 29 now.. so I remember the greatest show on turf vividly even as a kid, ... just a jaugernaut of an offense, and this team in 99' is now known as simply being legendary. With all that said I'm just so happy that now in 2021 we have just as potent of a team with Matt Stafford as QB, Kupp and Woods as WR and AD, Von Miller, and Ramsey on Defense :) we may not be as potent offensively but we are close this year. I really think Rams can win another superbowl with this squad we have now.

Orlando Pace and that O’line don’t get enough shine.
I know Pace is inducted in The HOF and is known to be 1 of thee best LT of all time but the O’line as a whole should get a gang of respect due.
You can’t get throws like that without a line and Marshall had sown holes too
But I know Faulk also created a whole lot on his own.

You knew after this game they had something here.

I don’t recall the opponent, but after receiving the opening kickoff, the Rams scored on 4 or 5 plays. The Rams recovered a fumble on the ensuing kickoff and scored on the 1st play. The opposing team was down 14-0 before their offense could run their 1st play.

9:09 bold statement. Particularly that last part. Considering both Carter and Moss are in the Hall of Fame. Though it is surprising that Bruce and Holt aren’t

Welcome to the show…the GREATEST show.

Fun fact: Michael Vick was NOT the first left handed Falcons QB to wear #7. That honor goes to the backup in this game who played for a few series when Chandler went down. He is none other than Tony Graziani who played college ball at Oregon.

The more you know...

Why do so many football highlights from 1999 seem like they were filmed in the 1970's? I know it's been almost twenty years but dang... I feel old haha

Dude, those fans didn’t yet know what they had.
None of us did, not yet.

I forgot how good that offense truly one of a kind. Throwing bombs left and right. Fun times
