I'm 60 yrs old. Not even from Texas - although I married a Texan. This is, BY FAR, my favorite marching band of all times. : )

I’m from upstate New York. I’ve heard of them a few times but they are absolutely amazing. Best college band in the nation and I went to The Ohio State University.

Honored to have marched this game. I am in this video in my freshman (fish) year Piccolo rank. Can’t believe that I am now “ole Army”

I told one of the Aggie fans at an OSU Cowboys half time that I loved their band and would come back tomorrow if they would show up again. They were behind at half time but he proudly told me "We never loose a half time" I believe him.

Outstanding!, , , ,
This is one of the best bands in the land!! If I ever get to Texas I hope to see them. My daughter and her husband saw them when PITT played them in Pittsburgh, and tell me that I must go. Sincerely,

in the early days of televised football, I will never forget the picture of the bass drummer of the A & M band sitting in a driving rain playing to War Hymn (??) as the Aggie's were getting beat. ABC I think just could not leave the shot alone and went back to it repeatedly during the game.

I’m not a Aggie fan but how can you watch these young men and women and not be amazed at their precision.

This band is so respected that a cameraman wanders on the field @ 1:55 to the upper right of the band, 3 yell leaders intercept the cameraman and have him leave the field. The crowd cheers as the cameraman leaves the field. The cameraman then wanders back onto the field and you can hear the entire stadium scream in anger @ 2:10 only to be intercepted again and the crowds cheers again.
