I am 1 year old and 9 months when she passed away, i have seen the selena movie when i was 12 years old year 2005 i am grade 6 at that time but oh my God i cried and up until now everytime i watched the movie, 😭😭😭 ilove her and her music since then i was a fan of selena!!! My moms a nurse and worked a second job at the astrodome in first aid and saw all her concerts for free and saw Elvis, Jackson 5, etc I tell her all the time I’m so jealous. I remember it like yesterday her last concert and her saying Tejano night is selena. After she died I was in New Jersey visiting family and they were selling bootleg tapes and I was shocked everyone was mourning even up north. Yolanda robbed the world and Texas of a great talent and still has no remorse or admittance of guilt even though she was found guilty. God will have his day with her in the afterlife.

As long as humans continue to exist, Selena will never die on the human memory & definitely not in heaven where she is. Selena will always live here on earth & in heaven. Although it hurts the videos of hers when I'm depressed I say 'ok Selena show me one of your clown videos & help out of this funk' and the one video that really helps me the most is the dramatization she did in Texas with a young man that was as tall as her navel and I tell you, it was the COLORES DEL BARRIO, I was amazed the 1st time I saw it & from day one it just gives me nothing but good sane laughter because that's how good spirited she was, she still is in her music and beyond :D Thanks Selena for making life as enjoyable as we humans should live it ... Living and enjoying the present time, the here & now by letting the future come if it may or not and enjoy with loving laughter what tomorrow we may not be able to sing, say, love and possibly enjoying life just as God wants us to enjoy it: the here & now . I never knew you since I live in nyc but it would have affected me so if I did. Only God knows how much I morn with Mexico since Mexican are the love of my life with their jubilant joys and dances and their mariachis but because Mother Guadalupe is where the mother of God wanted to settle to give all her motherly love to all those who accept mother Guadalupe as the mother of God and not savior but the mother of one and only true God: Jesus the son!
