Beware of confirmation bias. When a trader tells you something as truth, you are more likely to believe it if it’s what you want to hear. Every strategy is different.

You can make $ with 2:1 3:1 .5:2 etc. all depends on your wp and ultimately your % edge (google how to calculate house edge) or profit factor. The biggest thing is what type of strategy will allow YOU to stick to your strategy during a drawdown without constantly altering your strategy.

My RR is 1:1.. it just depends on your win rate percentage.

This is bollocks even some big traders just do 1 to 1 or even 2 to 1 don’t stress this too much just make sure you are patient and when you lose take a break 5 minutes and then come back the market isn’t going to end don’t worry
