I don't think you got the essence as to why karna took his stance towards Duryodhana. In Mahabharat, there is no one completely evil nor completely ethical (just like how we humans are). All karna wanted was true recognition for what he really was, And it is just duryodhan who stood by his side when his talents was denied just because of his presumed low-birth.
Tell me something, whom would you choose when in conflict; a friend who truly values your talent and offers his friendship as what truly are or someone who denies giving you the due recognition just because to whom you're thought of born to.?
Fun fact: Pandavas whom you portrayed as good souls went to hell (for sometime) but Duryodhan whom you thought as evil went directly to heaven..!
Everyone (including Shakuni) had their reasons for their actions. It is not your actions that determines who you truly are but your thoughts. Just look what krishna did to finish karna and how frightened he was to go to war with duryodhan just because he had karna by his side. Get your facts right dude.
