I used to be a billdip shipper as a kid and from my personal experience, even I preferred the wholesome aged up fanfiction rather than the age gap which I didn't see often. What's funny to me that going back to this Fandom, I no longer ship anyone but seeing billford become popular is my favorite things since it feels like a much better upgrade from what we did back then.
