hi if you fit an emulator do you have to remove the steering lock mechanism to prevent it coming on whilst driving ? w204 model

hey i have a question i have a 99 e320 and my ignition went bad. it started smoking bad. and i bought a push start to be new ignition . i have bought and awaiting my emulators. but cant seem to find wring diagram for my model can you do a video on this??

hey, i am from France,
i ve got tow days dealing with that issue.
steering lock locked and not responding on a mercedes clk class 230 k 2000.
i Wonder if there is any programming to use your universal els emulator or just have i to plug it after got rid of the steering lock?
thanks to make it afordable because this issue could have been kind of expensive...

ok I watched most of your videos, my ESL is in the closed position, how do remove it without causing damage. don't know what to do next, car been park for a week now, can I just get an emulators and just forget about this cheap ESL part.
