Had a college professor who grew up as a Mormon, and decided to sit down with a Bible and prove that Mormonism lined up with Scripture. After his research, he denounced the Mormon faith and became a Christian.

I totally agree that Mormons are some of the kindest and faithful people around. I also agree that they are sincerely wrong with their entire religion being completely unbiblical. The thing that is most concerning to me is the fact that they literally hide the differences and that’s when one can be tricked into thinking they are talking about the same Jesus and God the Father, etc. I don’t think most of the “common” people are aware of this but the leaders definitely are. Not good!

Here is another Fact of a Major Alterations in the New World Translation (NWT) that are done to support the Corporations core doctrines. The first alteration was to remove the word “Soul, ” and replace it with “life.” The Hebrew word נַפְשָׁהּ֙ (nap̄·šāh) literally means “her Sou” though it can mean “her life, ” in other scriptures. The next alteration from her soul “was going out” is the Hebrew word בְּצֵ֤את (bə·ṣêṯ) means, to go out, come out, exit, to depart was changed to “ life was slipping away.” (because she died”) was changed to (for she was dying). The Hebrew word, מֵ֔תָה (mê·ṯāh) means to die, NOT was dying. All of this was done to erase traces of this scripture that support the soul going out of the body after died, so as not to give reader the impression that the soul remains to exist after the body dies.

The Corporations, also known as the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses, created their own customized translation of the “Bible” in 1950, which included the New Testament. The King James Version (KJV) they were using before caused them many problems, after they changed their doctrines so they had to stop using the KJV and create their own customized made bible, which includes significant alterations to support their core theologies.

Over the years, they created many New Revised Editions, one of which was the first complete New World Translation (NWT) that included both the Old and New Testaments in 1961. Since then, newer revised editions have been released. Here are the remaining revised editions in order: 1970, 1971, 1981, 1984, and 2013, all of which included more and more and more drastic alterations, such as verses removed, words altered, new words added, punctuation moved, verses restructured, and parts of chapters removed in order to support their own doctrines as much as removing the Divinity of Jesus Christ and distancing Him from his Father

Why is Preston Perry being treated like an authority on what the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints believes? He doesn’t know half of it, and it shows in the several false statements he made. I’m a convert to the church and Preston refused to have a discussion with me. His whole thing is based on catching 18 year old kids off guard. When given the chance to have an actual discussion with a Latter-Day Saint, he won’t.
