As a parent who has used a family locator app on my children's phones for years, I will say that it is not about hovering, but knowing they are safe. If they every end up stuck somewhere, I can easily locate them. It only becomes a trust issue, when the person using it is a nut-case and always asking questions about where, what, who, why and when. A friend of mine son was riding a motorcycle and was run off the road. He called them but he passed out before he could tell them where he was. His parents were able to help the paramedics find him. That probably saved his life. So I don't want to hear people bad mouthing this type of app. Helicopter parents don't need an app to hover.

This is great for me working my company on solo days since I do window washing and you never know the type of people you might run into and feeling safe that my family can know where I am at all times. Or for my father who is a Truck driver, or my mother who loves going on long walks in our somewhat sketchy neighborhood.

People are saying this stuff causes trust issues and only controlling people use it, i mean its just not the case. This app is for tight families who look out and care for eachother, and if ur family isnt like that then im sorry. Its a really useful app beside tracking, such as the speed monitoring ECT.

Funny how my daughter loaded and taught me how to use it. Neither of us has ever shut it off. Great peace of mind for both of us...

I showed this to my mom...and she immediately wanted to install it on my phone! Too late...I already did! Another way for her to keep tabs on me! Awesome!

Been using this app for nearly 4 years now. The subscription is only really needed if your kids are driving already and you want to get that driving report. Just make sure you have a conversation with the kids first about why you're asking them to install the app. This is not an app for location spying since they can turn off GPS or just uninstall the app if they want. They need to trust you just like you need to trust them.

I think eveyone is not understanding clearly how this app works. You have to opt-in for this to work meaning the app has to be installed on all devices to be tracked. if someone adds you to their phone you'll get a request for permission to download the app and to be followed.

Other than elderly and young teenage age (quite young kids), don't think it should be used for any other age group. Constant tracking (spying) will only cause more unnecessary issues and trust issues, that's just common sense.

I decided to just get this app cause my mom one time got lost in the middle of the city
She is 60 years old and she doesn’t speak a lick of english and got lost in a dangerous part and couldn’t ask for help due to the language barrier
And strictly only use it as a last resort if she can’t call, doesn’t know where she is, or if the people worst case scenario.
I wish I got her an iphone to use find my but times are hard with all these subscriptions

I have the app. and it does not work at all . It does not give accurate information on family members, don’t know how to get it fixed. There is no support help desk. My Mom is elderly, at 90 years young she is still driving to and from work. The app never tracks her location. 😢
