Parents that feel the need to use this app clearly have trust issues with their children. If your teen actually causes so much trouble that you need to keep an eye on them 24/7, that probably because of shoddy parenting abilities. Address the problem at it's root, and don't strip your child of independence.

our parents didn’t have this when they were kids so like why should we? hear me out. my parents did so much and had so much fun in their youth bc their parents had no idea abt it and it’s was called being young and dumb. now days those same teens that did whatever bc they didn’t have a tracker on them like a convict are tracking us and not allowing us to be teenagers. my parents complain abt how kids don’t get experiences these days and how it’s dumb how we don’t do stuff like they did. well it’s hard to when ur being tracked and shielded from the

Omg if a teen feels they don’t have trust in there parents, they are gonna leave their phone somewhere so they can go where they want without being tracked and that puts them in a more dangerous situation bc then they can’t call 911 if theres an actual emergency, some of u will say “but teens need to unde-“ let me cut u off there bc i know darn well that a teenager always got an additude

if ur shielding ur child from the world then they will never have the experience they need to survive in the world alone and then they will lean on u when they are older and won’t branch out and will be scared to actually try new things also overprotective parents are the reason why kids are so sneaky if ur constantly looking where they are or going through their phones it causes them to want to disobey you and in the long run they will end up getting in more trouble
