☀️ AM
💧 cleanse with a hydrating cleanser like CeraVe
🍊 Vitamin C serum to fight free radicals that can cause photoaging
🧴 LRP Toleriane Double Repair moisturizer
🌞 SPF 30+ (LRP anthelios 50 tinted)

🌙 PM
🚿 I shower after a workout or a day of work and cleanse my face with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide (CeraVe again)
💦 hydrating and plumping HA serum (LRP HyaluB5 remains one of my favs)
🧴 winter routine involves me moisturizing before retinoid when my skin is sensitive and on the dry side. I don’t always do this. Many times I apply a moisturizer after my retinoid.
💥 Retinoid: pea-sized amount to entire face
Totally fine to use another layer of moisturizer over your retinoid esp if you’re a beginner.

Doctor, can you please recommend a good night time serum? I'm in my late 60s with good skin which I take very good care of. Very few fine lines, main concern some slight sagging in lower jaw. I use CeraVe Retinol serum three times a week, looking for a serum for the other nights. Thank you.

Wait so you moisturize before retinol? I thought that your skin can only absorb so much and that by the fourth step, it can't penetrate through as far? Wouldn't you want your retinol to be at it's maximum strength rather than diluting it with moisturizer first?
