Unfortunately, the American film industry still creates a very peculiar image of Germany, where one sometimes really wonders who hasn't arrived in modern times. I was surprised that the police officer didn't wear a Nazi uniform with this typical belt. No idea why you still have to serve any clichés. One would actually think that services like Netflix would be thought of in a more modern way. And if you don't even travel and look at the real world and how it really is, then you get this distorted image of other countries and the people there.

Regarding a police officer never would do that, you're very wrong, this is something that happened A LOT when russians came to germany after Putin targeted oligarcs, you might not have seen it or heard about it, but if happened all the time in the beginning, living in germany at the time while studying, I saw it in the airport almost every other month when I was flying to and from Latvia to visit my family

Hi Sissi, this reminds me of a video of Aramis. He had reported that he had played a German soldier but then was syncronized because he had not "properly" spoken German. So not the way the american viewers want it. Snappy and loud. But also in many latenight tv shows the other person is shouted at when they think they are talking the way the Germans do it.
In this respect, the people in the American film industry are crazy.

Sie hat deshalb keine Fake Deutschen Akzent gehabt, weil die Schauspielerin wie die echte Anna gesprochen hat. Und der Akzent hört sich bei genauerem hinsehen eher leicht russisch Annaberg nicht im entferntesten deutsch.

Hello Sissi, yes, the subtitles sometimes take a bit until the video has been completely processed by YT. The series didn't mean anything to me, so I googled it. Yes, I think you don't have to have that. There are really great American films and series but this is not one of them. If you are going to filmed something like this, there should be a certain degree of authenticity. OOOORR i hate it. 😁 Thanks for your new video despite everything and have a quiet weekend. Thanks for the video ! Idk about Inventing Anna. It does cover many cliches like your average German Nazi or our kids that of course go to school in castles which where build infinite years before Jesus with pure oak wood and gold 😂🤦‍♂️. But on the other side… this is a production where they understood to include real German actors rather than some Americans speaking fancy ✨Deäuotsckk✨ 😂. I totally agree on your points ! For my part, I always wonder how these kind of productions manage to be so, ,fake”. Like they cost millions of dollars, and they even flew to Germany to shoot scenes. But they don’t care about geographical informations ? It totally makes sense to use Berlin in the story since Düsseldorf may be uncommon for many people, but if you talk Berlinerisch then please talk Berlinerisch and not Leipzigerisch 😂👌.
