USATF Half Marathon Championships 2025

The USATF Half Marathon Championships was held in Atlanta during the Publix Atlanta Marathon weekend (which totally brought dejavu from the Trials in 2020). This race would be a selection race for Team USA for the World Half Marathon Championships later this year. And if competing in a World Championships race on US soil (San Diego) wasn’t enough of an incentive, Atlanta Track Club was throwing down real prize money for the winners of this race. Some of America’s best distance racers, from the 10k to the marathon, lined up for this one. Atlanta Track Club did a magnificent job organizing this event for the elites, and I hope that Atlanta will be able to host even more USATF Championships in the future.

Same thing happened marathon weekend last year where race day was a good 10-15 degrees colder than the days before and after. Great video. Gotta get out there next year and run the route with us.
