How To Replace rear lower control arm ball joint on BMW E90 E92 E82 328i 335i 325xi 128i

BMW E9x E8x lower control arm ball joint replacement how to.
It's time to replace another suspension part!
A special removal tool is required.
I used something that I made myself.

BMW E90 E91 E92 E93 E82 F20 F30 F80 and many more.

What are the dimensions of the tool you have made? I see the outer diameter of the bushing is 47mm, so guess 46mm outer is ok, but what about inner diameter?

It looks to me like the side of the ball joint shell towards the front of the car is flush with the face of the wheel carrier ear, so the shell extends out of the rear of the ear. Is that true? When I installed mine, it seems like I put them in to a depth where the ball joint is centered in the ear.

Did you have any issues with the alignment? My right rear camber is at -1.2 instead of -1.5. I need to check the installation depth of the ball joint I installed. It's the only thing I can think of that might be the reason.

Id love to know the dimensions of the tools that you used for this. Im preparing to do this job and it seems like the press tools are very expensive (300 usd) and a generic ball joint press does not fit properly. Thank you for the video!
