I’m not trying to be that know it all person in the comment section, as long as the sand doesn’t get into their mouth and you clean them up with some water it’s fine to have sand, but I don’t recommend pellets.

You shouldn't really have the pellets, only because they might have bad stuff in them. No hate to you though

Those aren’t a balanced diet and lack a lot of nutrients use a variety of insects and vegetables

And mealworms lack a lot of nutrients and should only be used as a treat try dubia roaches and super worms hornworms silkworms etc
