My suggestion is not to memorize the words. Instead, my suggestion is to watch the story again and again until you can understand everything said including the words you wanted to memorize. The trick helped for me in Duolingo stories. I memorised 2 words, "Colocataire" and "Reseaux Sociaux" without intention.
