Is the Tesla Model 3/Y White Interior Worth the Extra $1,000? | My Experience After 2.5 Years

When it comes time to design and order your Tesla Model 3 or Model Y, you will have to choose between the standard black interior or the optional white interior. Selecting the white interior will add an additional $1,000 to the total cost of the car and in today's video, I will be reviewing why I feel this added expense was worth the money based on 2.5 years of ownership.

I've had my model 3 performance for 2 years now with white exterior and white interior. I wear blue jeans almost daily so my white seats have had the blue color transfer stains. I saw a YouTube video that showed me how to remove the stains using baby wipes. I have a new order for model y performance with white exterior but this time around I chose black interior. I'm a little nervous about the black interior due to hot seats in the summer time but I just got tired of having to constantly clean the white seats.

yes there is a definite Blue jean dye transfer to the white seats... if you wear jeans DO NOT GET a white interior

Thanks for showing the inner part of the front seats that touches the console which is not vegan leather (its cloth). I was shocked when I discovered this on delivery day. I felt lied to by Tesla as this isn’t mentioned anywhere in the ordering process. Any tips for cleaning these cloth/fabric areas of the seats that no one ever talks about in these white seat videos? You mentioned your wife spilling coffee and it rolling off. Any other cleaning tips for that specifically? Is it just water? I called tesla and they said to google it for care. I was even told by them to use glass cleaner 😵, which I know is 100% wrong. Thx for the advice.

thanks man, you're the first who I heard said having white seat without coating is fine.
I fear coating will reduce the layer of factory coating by tesla.
you still feel that way btw?
