Kings Gambit ??
In 1938 Tarrasch wrote : "it is decisive mistake, almost madness to play King`s Gambit."-
Players still tried to surprise the opponent. Spassky played it successfully few times and even beat Bronstein and Fischer with it, which made Bobby furious. But of course he didnt play it in W CH game.That match was too important to take crazy risk with KG .

Keres played it in 1942 vs Alekhine in desperate tournament situation when he had to win with white pieces to win the tourney. Alekhine kept his cool, took the pawn and hold his advantage until very end. Keres was never better in this game. Hopeless attempt.

To play this against Carlsen, probably the best human chess player in history - it is kind of madness as Tarrasch wrote.
